AI as a Tool, Not a Replacement

I use AI as a tool, not a replacement for creativity. My original characters, world, and story are created by me. Every character's personality, motivation, emotional arc, and relationship is written from my own ideas and experiences. AI is used as part of my workflow to help visualize those ideas—similar to how others use digital brushes, 3D references, or editing software—but the storytelling and creative direction always come from me.

The Reality of Our Process

I also want to be clear about how AI is actually used in my process: we do not take the first result AI gives us. Every character has a specific vision—how they look, move, feel, and exist in the world—and reaching that vision takes time. We spend hundreds upon hundreds of hours refining designs, expressions, poses, clothing, and details. Sometimes a single panel in our manga can take weeks or even up to a month to finish. It sounds hard to believe, but it's true.

My Journey

I have spent several years trying to learn how to draw traditionally, but despite my effort, it never fully clicked. What did click was my love for computers, technology, manga, anime, and storytelling. Since I was about 16 years old, I've always wanted to create my own characters and tell meaningful stories through them.

I'm grateful that modern tools now allow people like me—who think visually but work best through technology—to bring their worlds to life. I take care to research, refine, and double-check my work to ensure nothing is copied or taken from other artists. I do not claim to hand-draw this manga, and I am not here to replace artists or take jobs from anyone.

Our Philosophy

This manga isn't for everyone—and that's okay. What matters is that it's made with care, honesty, and respect for creativity. We don't hide our process, and we don't let negativity take away the joy of creating. This story exists because we love it, and because we want readers to form the same bond with Mia and the NekoFury Ninjas that we have.
